Hello, my name is Don Sage. I have been in the manufacturing and wholesale diamond jewellery industry in North America for 35 years. During that time I travelled extensively throughout Canada and the United States, selling Loose Diamonds and Fine Jewellery to North America’s most successful retail jewellers.
When I first entered the industry I felt it would be a temporary job until I found out what I really wanted to do. Today, the thought of leaving the industry I have come to love, for retirement, is not attractive. I no longer wish to travel, but I do have valuable knowledge and experience that I wish to continue to utilize and share. As a result I have decided to open my office to the public, to consult with potential clients on the finer points of diamond jewellery purchasing.
The concept for my operation is a custom retail/wholesale environment, with small overheads, utilizing an abundance of knowledge plus access to products and craftsmen producing the highest quality diamond jewellery. Sources obtained from my established network of wholesale and designer/ manufacturing jewellers able to create one of a kind items. Clients can then make an informed decision, have input into the design, and not experience the pressure exhibited in some retail environments. Don Sage of Aurora Diamonds knew exactly what she had seen and exactly where to source a privately held diamond, of the correct size with great colour and sparkle. He sent it to exactly the correct jeweller to custom fabricate a beautiful sliding 14 karat gold bezel designed to show the diamond to its best advantage.
